The Consumer Electronics Association has warned that US tariffs could significantly increase prices on consumer electronics, with video game consoles potentially rising 69% and smartphones 31%. A report from the association estimates a $123 billion annual drop in purchasing power for Americans if the tariffs take effect.

Amazon's Vulcan robot has the warehouse touch

Amazon has introduced Vulcan, a new warehouse robot that can feel items with an AI-powered sensor. Vulcan is capable of handling 75% of items at a Spokane, Wash., warehouse and is designed to work with human workers and generate new skilled jobs, including roles in maintaining, building and operating robots, said Aaron Parness, head of the Amazon Robotics team.
