Chip hunger:  TSMC’s revenue jumped 48% in April as electronics companies rushed to acquire essential components before escalating US tariffs took effect.

Turnaround effort: Sonos interim CEO Tom Conrad said the speaker company has fixed the software issues that elicited a customer backlash and led to the ouster in January of former CEO Patrick Spence.

Saudi expansion: Amazon-backed Scale AI, a startup that helps companies develop artificial intelligence products, plans to open an office in Riyadh by the end of the year. The Middle East is the fastest-growing AI adoption region outside of the US and China, Scale AI’s global managing director said in an interview.

Omada Health, a digital health-care startup backed by Andreessen Horowitz, filed for an initial public offering. The San Francisco-based company, valued at more than $1 billion in a 2022 funding round, had a net loss of $9.4 million on revenue of close to $55 million in the first three months of this year.

The postponement for the launch of the blockbuster title, to May 2026 from later this year, means other companies with games even as popular as the Call of Duty franchise will have to adjust to ensure they don’t get overwhelmed by the expected GTA buying frenzy, he writes.
