Subway and Netflix are partnering to promote the upcoming "Happy Gilmore 2" movie through a limited-time offer meal that enables customers to upgrade to a meal for $1 and also comes with one of four collectible cups. The campaign also includes a QR code that gives users access to a themed immersive digital experience and a website that includes a sweepstakes and games.
The nine O-Ku restaurants under the Indigo Road Hospitality Group umbrella provide personalized gifts and other experiences known internally as "O-Kuisms" as part of their customer loyalty strategy. The restaurants' staff members consult data from Open Table to determine if a guest is celebrating something special, then surprises them with a present customized to their preferences, such as a token representing their favorite sport.
Landry's plans to open a Dos Caminos restaurant in Atlanta in the site previously occupied by its Oceanaire Seafood Room. This will make the sixth location for the Mexican concept. A Landry's representative said the decision has to do with bringing a new energy to the location and revitalizing the property.
