Sony Electronics, ELF-SR2 Spatial Reality Display Wins AV Technology's Best of Show at InfoComm 2025

Sony's ELF-SR2 Spatial Reality Display, part of the new XYN suite, offers realistic spatial images for various professional settings like architecture, education, healthcare, and film. This display provides incredibly realistic 3D images without glasses or VR headsets, using a proprietary high-speed sensor that tracks eye movement and an original algorithm for seamless real-time content. A micro-optical lens allows for stereoscopic viewing with the naked eye. Beyond workflow optimization, it enhances visitor experiences at events by immersing them in interactive 3D content. A Developer Site with tools and an Application Select website with exclusive applications are also available.

Sony has released a firmware update for its SRG-A40/A12 PTZ Auto Framing Camera. Following are some of the features that will be supported with Ver.3.0. Enhanced PTZ Auto Framing, such as Tracking Range, allows users to exclude any unintended subjects. When a subject enters the predefined area, the Fixed Angle Position will pause, and the angle of view will automatically move and hold the predefined area, and will resume when the subject exits the area.
