Read-A-Thon: October 8-October 24
We’re excited to kick off our Read-A-Thon — a fun and meaningful way to promote literacy while raising funds to support our school! Students will set reading goals, discover the joy of books, and build lifelong reading habits. With every page turned, friends and family can show their support by making donations that directly benefit Timber Lane Elementary. Let’s turn the page together for a great cause!
As students log their reading minutes and raise funds, they’ll earn fun, camping-themed rewards that add to the adventure. Each milestone unlocks a new surprise—like wearable gear, creative tools, and handy items perfect for young readers on the go.
On the final Friday (October 24th), we’ll wrap up the Read-A-Thon with a special Flashlight Reading Day—so don’t forget to pack your flashlight!
Best of all, if we reach our school-wide goal of $5,000, our principal has promised to do something wild and unforgettable. Let’s read, raise, and reach for that goal!
To register:
- visit www.getmovinfundhub.com and click on 'Register'. Enter our School Identifier: 68b892fd3b5a1
- Click "Add Student" from the Parent Dashboard to create a Student Webpage with a photo/video and a personal message.
- Click "Save" and you're done! You've now created a Student Webpage that you can share with friends and family via text, email, and social media. The more you share, the more you raise!
