 Hello Network Members!
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the TICN meeting on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. We had an excellent presentation and discussion.
We kicked-off with a presentation by Jackie Yap (Fairfax County Department of Management and Budget) on the 2024-2025 Youth Survey. Jackie highlighted positive trends in substance use and mental health, remaining disparities in experience of bullying and family and dating violence, and the importance of protective assets for Fairfax County high schoolers. Please take some time to play with the data tools available at Youth Survey | Data Analytics.
We also recapped the TICN's work over the past year, which included the development of two new toolkits (now available on the TICN website):
Finally, we had a great discussion on the TICN's priorities for 2026 and beyond. If you'd like to weigh in, be on the lookout for a Fairfax TICN membership survey coming to your inbox soon!
