Quick reminder that tomorrow (10/14) is Restaurant Day at the Red Robin in Seven Corners. Mention Beech Tree and the school will receive 20% of the sale (to-go and in-person orders).

Also, a big thanks to everyone who made the Book Fair last week such a success! We had an awesome group of volunteers and some very excited shoppers. Once we get the final totals from Scholastic, we will let everyone know how much the PTA raised.
Looking out to November, we will be holding an Election Day Bake Sale on Nov 4th. We will be asking for donations—homemade or store bought savory and sweet treats to sell while the polls are open. Watch the Great British Bake Off (new episodes on Fridays) for inspiration. No soggy bottoms or stodgy cakes and the more elaborate design the better. (Just kidding, simple stuff is welcome too! Though you won’t get a Paul Hollywood Handshake.) We will send out a volunteer signup sheet soon.
Finally, if your employer does employee donation matching or community giving, let us know and we will help them connect with the PTA. We are also in the process of adding Teacher and Staff Amazon Wish Lists to the PTA website. We want to make it as easy as possible to get our Beavers all the classroom supplies they need!
