Search ongoing after AT&T workers say they're tied up and robbed in Brockton

A search is ongoing in Brockton, Massachusetts, for a suspect after an armed robbery Monday night at an AT&T store.

It happened just after 8 p.m., and workers said they were tied up and robbed at gunpoint.

As of Tuesday morning, no arrests had been made, and police continue their investigation into the incident. A bag with thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise was found in a nearby wooded area.

Amazon truck blocking lanes on I-93 south in Boston

A tractor trailer appeared to jackknife early Tuesday morning on Interstate 93 southbound in Boston, creating a traffic headache for drivers.

The crash happened around Exit 15 near the Mass. Ave Connector, closing three southbound lanes of the Southeast Expressway.

As of 5 a.m., traffic was crawling through the area. The tractor trailer, which appeared to be an Amazon truck was blocking several lanes.

The nor'easter is on its way out, but the chill in the air will linger

Our nor’easter is on the way out. But like most nor’easters, it can be a slow process.

We’ll see rapid improvement across the Merrimack Valley (where we saw a “no-easter”) through the North Shore and into Greater Boston. The South Shore will slowly see the rain dissipate, the winds ramp down and the ground dry out Tuesday afternoon. It’ll be the same story on Cape Cod and the Islands, but the wind will be last to leave late Tuesday night — we did say it’s a slow process. Gusts up until that point will still be near 40 mph.

Highs Tuesday are as drab as Monday, but at least we get deeper into the 50s.

The Patriots second-year quarterback is playing far and away the best football of his young career. He hasn’t turned the ball over in three weeks. Fire breaks out at Chelsea hot dog plant

If you noticed a smell of burned hot dogs Monday night in Chelsea, Massachusetts, a fire at a Kayem Meats processing plant was the likely source.

Employees reported a fire that broke out above a commercial oven at the Arlington Street facility, according to Chelsea Fire Chief John Quatieri.

“When we responded, they had visible fire above the ovens, going up to the roof,” he told NBC10 Boston.

Lay's rebrands because customers apparently didn't know chips were made with ‘real potatoes'

The company said its design team made the sun “warmer and more distinct” with sun rays that beam from the logo, which it has nicknamed or “Lay’s Rays.” Lay’s also now has a color palette inspired by the ingredients of its recipes: pickle green, hickory brown, savory red and more. The red Lay’s ribbon will remain on the new bag.
