  • September 22, 2025 - February 6, 2026:
    • No Elective Change Requests
    • All Academic Level Change Requests (Example: English 9 Honors to English 9) must complete the Academic Improvement Plan that involves a parent/teacher/student conference. The Academic Improvement Plan form will be located in Student Services
    • After the Academic Improvement Plan is completed and the student still wishes to move forward with the academic level change, the schedule request will be reviewed by a committee. Approval is not guaranteed and is based on seat availability in the requested course
  • November 5, 2025: Last day to drop a course without it going on the student’s transcript as a Withdrawal Pass (WP) or a Withdrawal Fail (WF). Please see FCPS Regulation 2445.7 – Policy for Dropping A Class
  • February 9, 2026: No schedule changes will be permitted after this time (this includes Off Campus Waivers).

Locker Requests For SY25-26

If you would like a Locker for School Year 2025-2026, please submit your Locker Request.

All students get a locker upstairs with the exception of Athletes. We are allowing Fall Athletes to get a locker in the D Hall. Student participation in the sport must be verified by Athletics Office. If students say that they're participating in a sport but actually are not, then they will receive an upstairs locker.

Once students receive their locker, this is their locker for the rest of the school year.

Please allow 5 school days to process your request. When approved, the  locker number and combination will be emailed to directly to the student's FCPS Google Email. Students and Parents can also check ParentVUE/StudentVUE --> Info

All lockers are assigned based on time of request.

This information has been posted in Schoology --> Student Services --> Updates

Class of 2026: Official Transcript Request Form

All seniors must have the Consent to Share Transcript to Colleges on file in order for the school to send the official transcript to 2-year/4-year colleges, military academies, military branches, scholarship organizations, and others. If this consent is not on file, we will not be able to release the official transcript to these organizations.

Part One: Please return completed forms to Ms. Bond in Student Services. If you've already signed the form, no need to sign again.

Part Two: Students must submit an Official Transcript Request for EACH college/university and indicate whether we need to upload the transcript to a college portal, Common Application, Coalition Application, or email/mail directly to the College Admissions Office.

Class of 2026: Graduation Gown Information Needed

All graduation gowns are custom made to order based on your height and weight. We must have your information to place the order and we need to place the order by the end of September in order to receive the caps/gowns prior to Senior Distribution in May.

  • Height = Company needs to know how long to make the graduation gown
  • Weight = Company needs to know how wide to make the graduation gown

You information is confidential. It is only shared with Ms. Hanlon, Director of Student Services, who places the order directly with the company.

FAFSA IS OPEN

FAFSA Logo

Federal Student Aid has made the 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available ahead of the scheduled release date. Any college-bound high school senior — regardless of income — who wants to be considered for federal, state, and school financial aid programs should complete a FAFSA form. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to work with their students to complete the FAFSA as early as possible. Families should check each college’s financial aid office website for deadlines and financial aid forms. They will need to create an account to fill out the FAFSA.

VASA IS OPEN

The Virginia Alternative State Aid (VASA) application for 2026-27 is OPEN!

The VASA is an option for students who have certain nonimmigrant visas, are undocumented, have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status or are otherwise ineligible to file a FAFSA.

NOTE: The VASA application only provides access to Virginia State Financial Aid and possibly Virginia college/university aid. The VASA is not for out-of-state/out-of-country colleges/universities.

The easiest way to access the application is through Level Up Virginia's website.
