The Wolf Shack Wants your Extra/Leftover Halloween Candy!

One of the favorite things about the Wolf Shack for students is the candy bowl! A little sweet treat (often with a laugh or chat) means a lot to our student community. But we need help keeping that bowl full...and that's where you come in!

We are asking for extra candy from Halloween to be donated to the Wolf Shack. Starting October 30th, the PTSA will have Wolf Shack bins in the school front office to accept any and all candy donations. Whatever little goblins don't eat on Halloween night will be appreciated for weeks to come in the Wolf Shack!

The Wolf Shack is our PTSA-sponsored in-school food and resource pantry available to all Justice students. In the Wolf Shack, we provide FREE essential resources for ALL students - from food for them and their families to personal care toiletries to clothing to academic supplies to after-school snacks. The Wolf Shack is open from 3-5pm on late bus days (Wednesdays & Thursdays) every week in Room B27 between the Black Box Theater and the Little Theater.  The success of this critical endeavor is dependent upon the financial support and volunteerism of the students, staff, and community.

Email wolfshack@justicehsptsa.org with any questions!

SIS ParentVUE End-of-Quarter Closure

The Gradebook in SIS ParentVUE and StudentVUE will be closed for the end of the first quarter from Friday, October 31, 4 p.m. to Monday, November 10, 6 a.m. Activate your ParentVUE account to easily access grade reports.

Report Cards – Go Paperless!

Fairfax County Public Schools is requiring that Report Cards be mailed home each quarter.

You have the option to Go Paperless which is a more convenient option for receiving your child’s report cards!

By choosing to go paperless, you'll be able to:

  • Access report cards directly in ParentVUE with just a few clicks.
  • Reduce wait time in seeing your child’s report card.

 Here's how you can opt-in:

  1. You must have a ParentVUE Account (see below if you need one)
  2. Log into ParentVUE, click on "My Account"
  3. Select “Go Paperless
  4. All parents/guardians living with the student at the same address must have an active SIS ParentVUE account to opt-in.
  5. Once selected, the “Go Paperless” option will apply to all associated students, no matter their grade level.
    1. Example: You have a student in 3rd grade, 7th grade and 11th grade. You have logged into the 3rd grader's ParentVUE account and selected "Go Paperless". This selection will also update the 7th grader and 11th grader's Report Card status. So you don't need to log into the 7th grader and the 11th grader's account to do the same action.

Return Your Federal Impact Aid Survey

FCPS is asking all families to fill out a Federal Impact Aid Survey. The form is available in SIS ParentVUE under Online Packets, which is in the upper right corner of the screen after logging in. Please complete it as soon as possible. We will provide paper forms to families who have not completed the survey in ParentVUE starting Wednesday, November 12.

Completing this form for each school-aged child in every household is important. This year, FCPS expects to receive approximately $4 million in Impact Aid funding. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.

For more information, visit the Federal Impact Aid Survey page.
