Second round of playoffs start and state semifinals of soccer

Several suburban teams are moving on to the quarterfinals of the state high school football playoffs.

Hersey running back Brandon Jenkins ran for 277 yards against top-seeded Richards to send the Huskies to their first quarterfinal since 1987.
