In a night of celebration, recognition, and renewed global resolve, the Green List Awards Ceremony lit up the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025 in Abu Dhabi with a powerful message: when nature wins, we all win.

The Awards highlight digital solutions that address pressing conservation challenges and support the goals of the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, including the commitment to protect 30% of the planet by 2030.

IUCN has announced that Panamá will host the seventh IUCN World Protected and Conserved Areas Congress in 2027 – highlighting the country’s ambition to be a global leader in the conservation movement.
