As we reflect on another successful campaign season, culminating on World Sight Day, we’re reminded of the power of collective action. Love Your Eyes continues to unite organisations, communities, and individuals to push eye health as a global priority.

The 2030 In Sight Strategy urges us to champion eye health as more than an optional extra. To reinforce that eye care is essential to everything we do. In 2025, our campaigning focus turned to the people and stories behind the statistics, showing that investing in eye health initiatives is not only transformative but also cost-effective, boosting productivity, creating jobs, and improving education outcomes.

The energy, creativity, and commitment across this year’s campaign were truly inspiring. At the heart of every World Sight Day is a call for everyone to #LoveYourEyes. Ahead of the Global Summit for Eye Health, we launched a year-long petition asking individuals to commit to their own eye health while telling the world’s decision-makers that our eyes are on them. We aim to collect voices from across the globe calling for stronger action on eye health.

Thank you to every campaigner who supported World Sight Day. Together, we are shaping a future where everyone can love their eyes and experience the value of vision.

Since its inception in 2015, the World Sight Day Photo Competition has helped tell the story of eye care, the social and economic impact of having accessible, available and affordable eye care and the flip side. We invite you to enjoy this year's winning photos.

Act Now on Eye Health

#LoveYourEyes is about valuing your vision, and while millions have loved their eyes, far too many live without access to care. In the lead-up to the Global Summit for Eye Health in 2026, help tell world leaders they must act now on eye health.

Every Story Counts

This year’s campaign spotlighted the human stories behind the statistics. With Every Story Counts, we invited everyone, from glasses wearers and caregivers to advocates and professionals, to share their personal journeys. Together, these stories remind us that eye health is more than data; it’s lives, opportunities, and futures.
