The San Jose City Council approved a Request for Qualification that designates Prologis, Inc. as the preferred developer for a site in San Jose, Calif., that could house a data center park and manufacturing space. In addition, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors has provided initial approval for a development agreement with Prologis for an industrial project. "Founded on three core principles -- quality jobs, community and innovation -- this project will deliver infrastructure that keeps goods moving, creates jobs and contributes to San Francisco's economy," said Prologis' Courtney Bell.
