Toyota Motor is moving forward with the release of two new electric vehicles in the US in 2026 despite other automakers delaying or canceling EV plans because of rising tariff costs and the elimination of tax credits. The bZ Woodland and C-HR are set to join the updated bZ model, all of which will be manufactured in Japan. The bZ Woodland provides up to 260 miles of range, while the C-HR delivers up to 290 miles and a 0-60 mph time under five seconds, with expected starting prices under $50,000.
