Happy Friday, Panthers!

What an incredible day! We proudly celebrated over 500 Panthers earning a place on the Honor Roll for the 1st Quarter.  Dr. Choice, Assistant Superintendent, delivered an inspiring charge, reminding students that their achievements show they understand the blueprint for success.  And as Ms. Brooks, our dynamic Director of Student Services, beautifully put it, Parents, your presence inspires our students and underscores the value of education, the pursuit of academic excellence, and the powerful impact of encouragement on student success.” Thank you to all who celebrated with us!

A huge KUDOS to English teacher Durr and math teacher Ms. Woolf, voted by students, as our Teachers on Honor Roll this quarter. This recognition goes to staff members who consistently go above and beyond for students during the quarter.  We are truly fortunate to have Durr and Ms. Woolf on Team LHMS!

As Thanksgiving approaches, please remember that there will be no school from Wednesday, November 26 through Friday, November 28. In addition, there will be no after-school activities or buses next week.

Finally, please support our Student Council Association’s Food Drive. We are accepting canned goods and dry food items through December 5, 2025.   You can drop them off in the main office.  Your donations will directly support our South Lakes Food Pantry.

Enjoy a safe, restful Thanksgiving Break with family and friends,  and be helpful wherever you can!

SEL Screener Results

In October, students completed a Social Emotional Learning Screener. This screener provides information on their SEL skills such as: achieving goals, understanding and managing emotions, establishing and maintaining relationships, and making responsible decisions. The screener also asks students how well their school community makes them feel valued, included, and supported.  To access individual student SEL Screener results, go to the Documents section of SIS ParentVUE. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the SEL screener, please reach out to your student’s School Counselor: LHMS Counselor Contact Information.
