Open for Public Comment

On November 5, 2025, Florida submitted an amendment to the Florida Managed Medical Assistance (MMA) section 1115(a) demonstration. The state is proposing to exempt individuals who are permanently disabled from the 12-month Medicaid redetermination requirement in order to prevent disenrollment due to administrative or procedural reasons and to mitigate gaps in Medicaid coverage. The federal comment period will be open from November 21, 2025 through December 21, 2025.
