Federal Court Delivers Judgment to Prevent Dismantling of IMLSAttorneys general for 21 states sued to prevent the federal government from gutting the Institute of Museum and Library Services and other agencies, and on November 21, Judge John J. McConnell Jr. upheld an earlier preliminary injunction. more
ULC Releases 2025 ‘Library Insights’ ReportThe Urban Libraries Council has released its latest analysis of Library Insights Survey data, collected from 122 North American library systems this year. ULC found that visits and room reservations are up, but staffing is down and budgets are not keeping pace with inflation. more
