A Message From Principal Clarke

Principal Clarke

Dear Beech Tree Families,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Thanksgiving Luncheon on Friday, November 21st. It was such a special day for our school. The cafeteria was full of smiles, conversations, and holiday excitement. Thanksgiving fare was served along with some fun options. It was nice to see families and staff sharing the moment together in a Beech Tree Friendsgiving!

On Thursday, our 5th graders had a trip to the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond. They rode in comfort on chartered buses and spent the day exploring hands-on exhibits that brought science and innovation to life. It was full of curiosity, teamwork, and those moments that hopefully sparked new interests. We love giving our students experiences that help them connect learning to real life application.

As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to pause and recognize how grateful we are for this community. Your support and partnership mean so much. Thank you for trusting us with your children each day; it is a responsibility we hold with great care.

A reminder that school will be closed from Wednesday, November 26th through Friday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will welcome students back on Monday, December 1st.

I hope the upcoming extended days off from school brings your family some rest and quality time together. Thank you for all you do to help make Beech Tree a place where every child feels seen, supported, and able to shine.

With appreciation for your partnership,

Principal Clarke
