Pizza for Thanksgiving? The idea would have seemed not just absurd but irreverent at one time in my life. But I’ve learned otherwise.
Pizza has been the centerpiece of some of our best holidays. No one is more surprised about that than I am.
I grew up in a family of seven with plenty of aunts and uncles, cousins, and eventually nieces and nephews. Thanksgiving dinner was a big deal in our little house when I was a kid.
