Dear Albert,
Thank you for your interest in the Executive School of the University of St.Gallen. We value your commitment to our programmes and wanted to share important news about an organisational change within the Executive School of the University of St.Gallen that will take effect on 1 January 2026.
The Executive School is establishing a new unit called "Degree Programmes," bringing together all MBA and EMBA programmes under one organisational structure. This strategic step is intended to strengthen our programmes in the long term, enhance our international positioning and rankings, and further improve the services and support you will receive as a student.
What does this mean for you as an applicant/prospect?
This organisational change will not impact the application process, programme curriculum, or entry requirements for your desired programme. Crucially, we want to assure you that your Admissions and Recruitment Manager will remain unchanged. They will continue to be your dedicated, primary point of contact for all your questions regarding the application process, programme details, and decision-making support.
The new Degree Programmes unit will be jointly led by
- Prof. Claudio Feser (Associate Dean)
- Prof. Dr. Reto Hofstetter (Academic Director EMBA)
- Academic Director MBA (to be appointed)
They are supported by an experienced leadership team across Marketing and Admission, Programme Management, Alumni Relations, Operations, Human Resources and Finance. Once the new Academic Director MBA has been appointed, we will inform you separately.
By aligning key processes and responsibilities, the Executive School will be better equipped to respond to the evolving demands of international executive education. For you, this means even stronger programme quality, clearer structures in the background, and a continued focus on your learning experience, career development and the international standing of your degree.
We look forward to guiding you through the application process and potentially welcoming you to the University of St.Gallen.
If you have any questions regarding this update, please feel free to contact your Admissions and Recruitment Manager.
With kind regards,
Prof. Dr. Karolin Frankenberger
Dean, Executive School of Management, Technology, and Law
Director, Institute of Management and Strategy
