Writing on Campfire
Campfire has a variety of tools, but the most popular by far is our corkboard-style writing software. The desktop app has all of Write's features, but allows you to work offline. It's perfect for working from a laptop during a long car ride, airplane ride, or abroad when you're away from Wi-Fi. If you have a Campfire subscription, it has to be connected to internet once a month to check you're still subscribed.
The Campfire mobile app is 100% free to use. That's right, no limits, no in-app purchases, and no pesky advertisements. You can download it from the app store for both iOS and Android. It's missing a few features the browser and desktop versions have due to technical restrictions, but it's ideal for adding to your wordcount between class, on public transportation, and laying in bed late at night. (Because isn't that always when inspiration strikes?)
