Parts of the world slow down and, for many, the main goal is to relax and unwind. We reflect on what happened in the last 12 months (my dreamy trip to Vietnam) and brainstorm what we want to usher into our lives in the coming year (a girls' trip to Isla Holbox, anyone?). And while this week of calm can be much needed, I admit I tend to go a bit stir-crazy. So, for my fellow travelers who also struggle to savor the downtime, Twixmas can be one blissful week to fit in that last trip before we must commit to our resolutions to save money and cook at home. Whether you are heading to a nearby town for a staycation, warming up one last time before hunkering down for the rest of winter or aiming to connect with nature on the slopes – Twixmas is your oyster. | | | LOS ARCOS IN CABO SAN LUCAS, LOS CABOS, MEXICO | At the tip of a peninsula lies the sun-soaked city of Los Cabos.
