Campfire has eighteen modules (the Characters Module, Manuscript Module, etc). Though our team works hard to make Campfire intuitive, some guidance is always helpful. Especially after a new update brings all new changes and improvements to the software.
That's why we're constantly releasing new tutorials and updating old ones to keep our resources up to date so you can always find what you're looking for. But if there's ever anything you don't understand or anything you need help with, never be afraid to ask us! Send us a message on social media, submit a help ticket, or reply to this email.
That being said, here's two crucial tutorials to help you get started with writing in Campfire:
One thing that new users with the free tier of Campfire get tripped up on is the module limits. Remember, each module has a limit of how many elements you can create within it.
(For instance, you can only create 10 characters without purchasing or subscribing to the Characters Module.)
If you create a new character and then remove it from your project later on, you may notice no effect on how many new characters you can create. That's because when you remove an element from a project, it's still part of your element Library. You'll need to permanently delete the character to create enough room to add more characters within the limits. It works like this because some characters are used across several projects that take place in the same world, for instance.
