Arek, I always had this feeling that the journey of reaching my goals could feel just as amazing as achieving them...
But I didn’t know how to trust that.
So I did what I thought I was supposed to do: push, grind, overthink, force.
Until I couldn't do it anymore.
It took me years to learn this:
You get your best results when the PROCESS of getting there feels right, not forced.
So if you're forcing yourself to create faster, publish more, or find the perfect product idea... but it all feels like HELL...
Ask yourself:
How much are you doing something JUST for the outcome? vs. How much are you doing it because it feels right?
In BOTH scenarios, you WANT the outcome. The difference is in the process of getting there.
- Creating just for an outcome drains you.
- Creating from alignment gives back to you.
And here’s the tricky part:
Both paths CAN give you results. But the cost is completely different.
Put simply...
When you want the outcome AND you’re drawn to the work...
the work energizes you and the outcome expands you.
When you want to do the work ONLY for the outcome...
the work drains you, and the outcome limits you.
This is the difference between creating from survival vs. creating from alignment.
And once you truly understand this… you never go back.
Let me explain with 2 personal examples...
Example 1: Aligned Output: Thank You Card Creative Kit
Idea stage: A wave of inspiration - “I want to do that.”
Creation stage: Rewarding. Challenging at moments, sure… but fulfilling and energizing.
After finishing: Proud. Excited. Lit up.
Monetary gain: $1,000+ / month
How it expanded me: It led to the digital course idea that made $400K+. It was a stepping stone, not a finish line.
Example 2: Misaligned Output: Instagram Template Pack
Idea stage: Heavy.
"This is going to suck… but I know it will work.”
Creation stage: Trudging through mud. Forced. Overthinking. Stress.
After finishing: Relief - “Thank God that’s over.”
Monetary gain: $1,000 (same result)
How it expanded me: It didn’t. It taught me I could beat myself into submission to get results… but it wasn’t worth the cost.
Arek, I'd LOVE to know...
Which one feels most true for you right now?
A) “I know what I WANT to create, but I’m scared it won’t sell.” B) “I’m forcing myself to create something I don’t even enjoy.” C) “I don’t know which direction is aligned for me yet.”
I'm exploring sharing more on this topic so knowing where you stand right now would help me help you!
With that said, I hope this email gave you value and brought you one step closer to making creation and business feel fulfilling again.
xoxo,
Alissa
