Carole Bidnick, Literary Agent and Former Sales Exec, Dies at 76Bidnick worked in sales at Holt Rinehart & Winston and Scribner before serving as director of sales for the A Day in the Life photo book series. She pivoted to agenting in 2000, representing authors in the cookbook, health, and wellness spaces. She died on December 2 in Berkeley, Calif., of brain cancer.

- Boa Names Manuscript Prize Winner: Jordan E. Franklin’s make it to the end (of the movie) has been chosen by Boa Editions as its 2025 Blessing the Boat Selection, which recognizes poetry collections by women of color. The manuscript will be published by Boa in fall 2027.
