Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced two counts of first-degree murder against Nick Reiner, who is accused of killing his parents.
The charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without possibility of parole or the death penalty. Hochman said no decision has been made if prosecutors will seek the death penalty.
“He also faces a special allegation that he personally used a dangerous and deadly weapon — that being a knife,” Hochman said.
