Medline raises more than $6.2 billion in initial public offering, one of the largest of the year

Northfield-based Medline has raised more than $6.2 billion in its initial public offering, making it one of the largest initial public offerings of the year. Medline sold about 216 million shares at $29 a piece — a larger offering than the company had initially outlined.
