Recs posts are for paid subscribers. Each week, I send a roundup of delightful culture recs, reads, links, and whatever else is on my radar. Paid subscribers get full access to these letters, sent every Friday. (There’s a 20% sale happening! It’s ending soon!)
Good morning and happy Friday. We’re now rounding the corner on the final stretch of the year. WHAT. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been shuffling around town, doing all of the things, and I’m wiped (it could also be the third-trimester Wall of Exhaustion beginning to hit...)!
Should you need a few minutes of distractions from all the holiday hubbub, I’ve got many links and recs to share with you today, the result of having a massive backlog of links I haven’t been able to share for a while.
A few announcements before we dive in:

Thanks to everyone who joined our Heart the Lover by Lily King book club discussion that I co-hosted with Leslie Stephens of Morning Person (a gem). We’ll vote on our February–March book pick soon. (We’re skipping January. We need to ease into the year! I also want to vet a few new releases first :))
Congrats to Steph G., the winner of our $500 Sézane gift card giveaway. As a reminder, I host monthly giveaways for my paid subs as a small thank-you.
What’s under the paywall today: holiday hosting shortcuts, buzzy book-to-screen news, my favorite recent culture reads, tradwives, AD tours, and some design + style finds I’ve been saving.
Happy holidays,
Alisha
A handful of objects that caught my eye this week…
If I had a much bigger budget for collecting “heirloom cardigans,” this one would be at the top of my list. Is it just me, or does this one from Etsy give similar vibes? And there’s this one from Tecovas.
Am currently in the midst of a marbled paper craze. This pretty stationery set scratches the itch.
Love the pointelle cropped pants from DONNI in a new blueberry color. I’d wear it with an oversized cotton sweater in cream or black. ALISHA10 for 10% off.
I’ve been burning this candle while writing. It smells delicious and reads holiday-ish to me with notes of espresso, cookie butter, vanilla, and caramel. ALISHA20 for 20% off.
I’m seeing this new beauty brand everywhere; the packaging is stunning. Has anyone tried it?
