I took a pause from software engineering mentorship to focus on building my course curriculum. Throughout this time I’ve received a lot of requests for people looking for guidance and mentoring, but I didn’t have the capacity.
Now, to kick of the new year, I am doing a special limited time mentorship program! However, this time around things are even better.

I’ve been developing for over 10+ years, and most of those were without the assistance of AI. I’m definitely NOT the type of dev who wants AI features in everything, but I definitely can say embracing AI has enhanced my rate of learning and the quality of my software.
There’s a catch, though. When using AI incorrectly it actually does the opposite. It slows you down and produces WORSE software. I’ve fallen for this trap myself.
Now I’m in the perfect spot where instead of replacing my skills and knowledge, I’ve AUGMENTED myself with the use of AI. Some call this AI-Augmented software engineering. It’s a mouthful, but i’ll run with it.
