…because what we’re working on can hardly be described as a new version. It’s a completely new tool.
It took us several years to realize that our current version had reached its limits. We've always wanted to deliver the best satellite earth observation tool possible, but initially, we lacked the experience to bring our vision to life. Over the past 2-3 years, we experimented with different approaches, trying to find a shape or form that fit our original concept – but it wasn't until now that we've finally found the right formula. Now, with full confidence, we can say we’re building the earth observation satellite interface we always dreamed of—shaped by your feedback and by what we ourselves wanted to use.
We’re working our asses off to make it as good as possible, so we ask for a little patience. But 2026 will bring completely new ways to work with earth observation satellites.
Thank you for sticking with us on this journey. This new spectator.earth wouldn’t exist without you. Enjoy the end-of-year break, get some rest, and get ready for 2026. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
