It’s the new year.
I’m excited.
Also a little twitchy.

I just started a new day job at a software company, and naturally... I want to do everything at once.
Crush it at work.
Design at night.
Teach more.
Print more.
Oh—and train for Everest, probably.

That’s kinda my INSANE default: Go big or go back to the couch.

Like if I’m not doing something huge, it doesn’t feel like it counts.
Which, yeah... sounds ambitious.
But honestly? It's also a little self-sabotaging.

Because sometimes what actually works?
Small, boring, daily stuff.

Case in point: I started walking every day.

I know. Not exactly an exciting New Year fitness montage.
But it’s been effective :)

I get sunlight. I clear my head.
My appetite chills out.
And here’s the kicker: I’m actually dropping weight—without needing to go full ultramarathon.

Turns out, walking beats “training for Everest” when you actually do it.

Same goes for CAD and Fusion 360.

If you’ve been wanting to level up your skills—
finally get confident with sketching, constraints, dimensions, assemblies…

You don’t need a massive project to get going.
You need a first step.
Something you can stick with.

So I’m running a New Year promo this week on my Fusion 360 Jumpstart course.
Big discount. Low pressure.

Here’s how I think about it:

It’s like learning the language before a big trip.
Not to give a TED Talk in German.
Just enough to feel comfortable and capable.

Order food. Ask directions.
Handle an emergency if something goes wrong.
And maybe even have real conversations—build some connection.
Ask about their family. Where they live. What they love.

You’re not aiming for perfection. You just want to be able to navigate, connect, and grow from there.

That’s what this course is for.

You’ll learn the Fusion core:
Sketching. Dimensions. Constraints. Assemblies. How to troubleshoot when it breaks (because it will).

So you can start designing with real confidence—and know how to teach yourself more as you go.

And if it’s not for you? Money-back guarantee. No pressure.

Just a solid way to start walking toward the kind of maker, designer, or builder you want to be.

Small steps. Real momentum.

Talk soon,

-Tyler
