Whenever I want to level up in Fusion — like, right now with Sculpt — I come back to the same strategy.

Here’s how I do it:

But first, I remind myself:
Beginner’s mindset only.
Let go of “I should already know this” and pick up “What can I learn right now?”

1. Start with a Pro

Don’t waste time clicking around blind.

Find a solid tutorial from someone who actually explains stuff.

2. Learn the Core Tools

You don’t need every button — just the right ones.

For Sculpt, start with:

  • Edit Form
  • Insert Edge
  • Crease / Uncrease
  • Bridge
  • Fill Hole
  • Few key primitives

Get comfy with those, and you’re off to the races.

3. Rebuild Real Things

Pick a few objects or existing exercises.

Rebuild them in 30-minute sprints. No pressure. Just reps. You learn faster that way.

4. Reflect + Repeat

What worked? What broke? Do it again, but better.

Fail fast → adjust → keep moving.

⚡ 5. Watch Smarter, Later

Once you’ve tried it yourself, then go back and watch how the pros do it.

You’ll see the patterns. The why behind the moves. That’s when it clicks.

And hey — if you want to level up your troubleshooting skills (especially when Fusion acts like it’s your nemesis)…

Fusion Rescue is half off right now.

It’ll teach you how to fix broken timelines, repair sketch chaos, and handle those “uhhh what just happened?” moments without rage-quitting.
