At least the ignorant don't run full speed ahead towards what they don't know.
The best analogy is someone who wrongly assumes that there is no cliff drop-off in front of them in the night. They run full speed ahead, falling off the edge, confident in their assumption until they hit the ground.
The ignorant person is going nowhere, but they aren't going the wrong direction at full speed.
I am by no means recommending this method (I find it kindof gross and don't love gimmicky business models that don't provide actual value, personally) but this is fascinating.
