Captured in Thuir, France during a late-night session on March 17, 2025, Cozy Piano is a multi-sampled Remeau Upright piano recorded in a spacious living room, positioned near a staircase with plenty of breathing room behind it for a more open and natural resonance. The instrument was recorded with a Tascam FR-AV2 and a pair of Rode NT5 microphones in an XY stereo configuration, preserving a realistic stereo image, intimate detail, and a subtle, lived-in ambience that feels instantly musical.

Cozy Piano is also a very lightweight piano, with the plugin version weighing only 77 MB, making it fast to download and easy on your system.

If you own the FULL version of Kontakt 5 or later, the Kontakt version is the best option, as it includes a round-robin simulation script for a more natural and organic feel.

The Decent Sampler and Soundbox versions are a great choice if you want compatibility with Pro Tools, and they can also be used on iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad.
