W-8BEN Validity Lapse and Required Renewal Through 2026

Dear Client,

This notice is issued to inform you that the W-8BEN form currently associated with your account has reached the end of its permitted validity period and is no longer considered valid for tax documentation purposes. The W-8BEN is required to establish your status as a non-U.S. individual and to determine the appropriate application of withholding and reporting obligations under applicable tax regulations.

When a W-8BEN expires, it can no longer be used to support reduced withholding rates or tax treaty claims. Our records indicate that your previously submitted form has exceeded its allowable timeframe. As a result, regulatory standards may require that standard withholding treatment be applied to your account until updated documentation is received and approved.

To restore compliant tax documentation status, you are required to submit a renewed W-8BEN that will remain valid through December 31, 2026, provided there are no changes to your tax residency or personal information. The renewal process must be completed through our secure documentation system:

Renew Certification Now

After accessing the portal, please proceed to the tax documentation section. You will be asked to review your existing information, confirm your country of tax residence, and submit a new electronic certification. Once approved, your renewed W-8BEN will remain on file through the 2026 validity period unless regulatory changes require earlier action.

Timely completion of this renewal will help ensure accurate tax processing and continued compliance through 2026.
