Michael J. Fox and Harrison Ford Go Long |
In season three of Shrinking (which premieres on Apple today), Harrison Ford plays a therapist living with Parkinson’s disease. He has a scene partner who knows what that’s like: Michael J. Fox, who was diagnosed with the degenerative illness in 1991, at age 29. “Michael raises more money for and has done more Parkinson’s research than almost anybody in the world,” Ford tells Savannah Walsh in an exclusive conversation. “It’s a credit to our great people,” Fox, who’s also on the call, replies. “It would be nice to have the government behind us, but it seems that they’re involved in other things that have less impact on people’s lives.” What does the actor mean by that? Fox shrugs. “He’s busy with Greenland. More pressing concerns, I guess.”
Elsewhere in HWD, José Criales-Unzueta sits down with stylist James Yardley, who’s been dressing overnight sensation Connor Storrie; Kase Wickman charts Lady Gaga’s style journey through 16 years at the Grammy Awards; Chris Murphy previews the dark new Jason Bateman limited series DTF St. Louis; and the VF team charts how you can watch every single feature film nominated for a 2026 Academy Award. |
