Activities Update for Thursday:
All events for today were canceled. Varsity practices are allowed after 10 AM and must be concluded before 6 PM so the building can be closed. There also must be no student drivers to and from school.
Boys and Girls Basketball vs Justice is moved to Saturday.
11am – Freshman
12:30pm – JV
2:00pm – Varsity
Basketball games for tomorrow are still on as scheduled. We will get direction later this afternoon from the county for tomorrow.
Wrestling has been moved to February 4 at 6:00 PM vs Annandale. This is also Senior Night.
Track has been canceled for Wednesday and Thursday. We are hoping for a 1 day meet tomorrow at PG Sportsplex with the building opening at 10 AM. Pole Vault and Shot Put will be contested on Saturday at Robinson at 12 PM. High Jump will be contested at Mount Vernon HS beginning at 6 PM. This will be the last opportunity to get this event in. If it doesn't happen Friday, it will not happen. This not ideal, but there are no other venues that can host it with availability.
Swim finals has become a 1 day meet tomorrow with finals only. No official time has been set yet but I am hearing we may be cut off before 6 PM so that will necessitate and early start. Coach St Jean will get that notice out soon.
Both wrestling events are on as scheduled so far. I will let you know when I know. Go Majors.
