Our custodians worked for 4 days straight to move the snow and ice at Camelot.  Many thanks to Mr. Chiquillo, Mr. Hoang (Nguyen), Mr. Nguyen, and Mr. Dinh for their collaboration and hard work.  (Mr. Van was lucky enough to escape the storm, as he is overseas.)

Returning to School (we hope!)

Hi Families,

We trust that all Camelot ES kids had a great week of fun in the snow!  We HOPE that we are back at school on time on Monday.  Dr. Reid, our Superintendent, will provide an update on Sunday.

While our school grounds look good, please consider using school buses and/or driving kids to Kiss and Ride (door 3) next week, as not all sidewalks off school grounds have been shoveled.  Particular areas of concern for walkers are the intersections where there are mounds of snow.  The path from King Arthur Rd. up between the houses is also not ready to go, so unless that changes, please avoid this walking route.  We will have extra staff out at the driveway entrance in the AMs and PMs next week to assist.

We also have a few areas on school grounds that need continued work, so please be careful if you are on property next week.

Please remember to send your child back to school with their ipad or laptop and charger on our first day back.  You will likely see reminders from teachers in Talking Points as well.

Have a nice weekend!

Aileen Flaherty (akflaherty@fcps.edu), Matt Salerno (mgsalerno@fcps.edu) and Ben Mork (btmork@fcps.edu)

  • Support Young Entrepreneurs: Visit and shop at the Children’s Business Fair.
  • Attend: Even if you don't have a tradition to display, we can't wait to see you there!
