The Grammy Awards on Sunday night brought some historic moments: Bad Bunny’s “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” is the first Spanish-language LP to win album of the year; “Golden” is the first K-pop song with a Grammy; Kendrick Lamar is now the most awarded rapper in the show’s 68 years; Billie Eilish and Finneas are the first to win song of the year three times. Several artists spoke out onstage about the aggressive targeting of undocumented immigrants by federal agencies, including Bad Bunny, who offered a direct statement at the top of his first acceptable speech: “ICE out.” After the show was over, President Trump registered his own review, calling the show “virtually unwatchable” and threatened to sue the host Trevor Noah over a joke about Jeffrey Epstein. Here’s our coverage of the music, the winners, the fashion and the speeches, and a look ahead to what’s next for Bad Bunny: his Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday.
