I’m the only one not totally locked in on figure skating right now. This is because I am finding breaks in the middle of an atmospheric river of pouring rain to fiddle with the SRAM shifters on Salsa’s brand-new electric gravel bike, the Wanderosa. It has full suspension, so you can go up to 28 mph on whatever road surface you like. It fills me with both delight and terror.

Much like do-it-all gravel running shoes, gravel electric bikes are the most popular new all-around option if you want an electric bike that can commute to work and go bikepacking on the weekends. At $7,999, the entry-level version isn’t outrageously expensive (to a bike person, at least). You are going to need a massive ebike lock if you’re going to ride it to the bar, though.

Like most people, I usually record important things on my phone. But if you need to, you know, use your phone during meetings, you might want to consider getting a separate AI notetaker for meetings and transcriptions. |
I live in Portland, Oregon, and the constant rain and dampness aren’t doing great things for my hair. The best curling iron would probably help; I should probably get a dehumidifier, too. |
If I bumped into you at a Soup or Bowl party and we were both only there to see Bad Bunny, I might mention some of these things. |
