The true mark of a great blanket, according to Wirecutter’s bedding expert Jackie Reeve: “If you can’t wrap up in it like a swaddled baby, it’s not a (worthy) blanket,” she writes.

After our latest round of testing, we have some new favorites for adult swaddling, including a woven-cotton blanket that feels like a knit sweater and an on-sale (!) airy option that’s delightfully squishy and weighs almost nothing.
