Happy Monday. Skimm HQ is closed in honor of Presidents Day, so the Skimm Shopping team is taking over to share our picks from the best holiday weekend sales. Presidents Day has long been associated with mattress sales, as I’m sure you remember from all the TV commercials of your youth. While I’m not currently in the market for such a big-ticket item, I feel spiritually refreshed by the prospect of new decor (and other small upgrades) to spruce up my home/routine ahead of spring. • An air fryer (am I the last person on the planet to not have one?)

• A waffle-weave blanket for the end of my bed, because my dog literally ate my old one
