| Japan raises enrolment limits for international students at three universities
Japan's education ministry will allow Tohoku University, Hiroshima University, and University of Tsukuba to admit more international students from 2026. This move aims to attract global talent and boost competitiveness. Universities can now exceed enrollment caps at specific faculties. Tuition fees for overseas students will also see an increase at these institutions.
