The Robert E. Howard house and museum in Cross Plains, Texas needs some serious repairs. So the HPLHS is conducting a raffle to raise funds to help protect the legacy of one of Lovecraft's best and most influential friends. The link above will tell you all about this charitable cause.
Our colleagues at Chaosium, Helios House, Heroic Signatures and Hippocampus Press have donated a trove of great prizes to go with some HPLHS goodies to create the largest collection of prizes for any raffle we've ever conducted. This heavy duty spinner widget allows you to generate any gaming dice rolls with a flick of the finger. It's pleasingly hefty - all the players we showed it to were quite taken with it. Do you need it? No, probably not. Do you want it? Oh yeah, definitely.
We found (and reworked) this great 1932 map of Los Angeles and included it as a bonus prop in our Dark Adventure Radio Theatre: The Blood Red Sphinx. It's not available as a bonus any more, but we loved it so much that we added it to our collection of Vintage Prop Maps. This hand-drawn gem is a whopping 30.5 x 20 inches and is filled with delightful details. You can order it a la carte, or bundle it up with a batch of our other great retro-maps.
