Hey Snackers,

Peanuts got roasted as Brad Reese — the grandson of the inventor of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups — accused the brand’s current owner, Hershey, of skimping on ingredients, including replacing peanut butter with “peanut butter crème.” Reese told The Associated Press that the candy was now “not edible” and described the recipe change as “very devastating.” Even those of us who aren’t nepo Wonkas may be riled up about Reese’s recipe, given that peanut butter is America’s favorite condiment (and yes, the survey was very broad in defining what is a “condiment”). This chart shows how the rest stacked up.
