There’s a lot going on, to put it mildly, but I thought we’d take a break. You know how I feel about this war and will write more tomorrow. Trump and cronies keep changing the reasons why they attacked Iran and Trump seems very bizarrely complacent about it all when we hear him speak in public (curtains??). Last night as I tried to go to sleep, I thought: who’s really in control? It’s a mess. I had the pleasure of going live with fellow New Yorker cartoonist, Jason Chatfield. We drew as we talked, below are the drawings I did while we chatted about all kinds of things. We talked about what its like to be a cartoonist for The New Yorker, and he kindly asked me a lot about my film, Women Laughing ( screening four times this month in NYC, and will come to other parts of the country, check our website for details). News is never far from my mind. But silliness isn’t either. How I feel ever time I hear Trump talk. And a dream walk for me. Thanks for being here. More news tomorrow. |
