Security Notice: Scam Impersonating Reap
Dear Reap Member,
We are aware of a scam attempt in which an individual is impersonating Reap and contacting clients using misleading company names and domains similar to ours.

What to watch for

  • The scammer may claim to be a co-founder or CEO of a fintech called REAP (not Reap).
  • The scammer may reference a non-Reap domain (for example, reapapp.io) and claim it is affiliated with Reap.
  • The scammer may claim to be based in New York and attempt to move the conversation to unofficial channels.

What you should do

  • Do not share account details, verification codes, banking information, or documents in response to unsolicited requests.
  • Do not engage with messages that direct you to unknown or unofficial websites or email domains.
  • If you’ve already engaged with a suspected scammer, stop replying, do not click any links or open any attachments, and forward the message to Reap Support.

How to verify it’s really Reap

  • We use email addresses ending in @reap.global or @reapglobal.co.
  • If you are unsure whether a message is legitimate, contact us directly using the details below to verify.
  • Even if you contact us on WhatsApp, Reap will never ask for verification codes, passwords, or to move funds.
