Happy Friday!

We’ve had a fantastic, momentum-filled week at Centreville! One of our highlights was connecting with families during the monthly PTA meeting—hearing your perspectives is what helps us grow. Additionally, inside the classrooms, the "literacy in action" has been incredible to witness this week! Whether mastering phonemic awareness or diving into complex comprehension, our Eagles are soaring through top-tier reading instruction. 

Also, this month we are again launching our annual SCA Act of Service- STARCH MADNESS. Throughout the entire month of March we invite students and families to please help us partner with our local food pantry by donating pasta/rice/grains/cereals in the Bus Lobby between now and March 31st to help fight food insecurity in our community AND win the Starch Madness Challenge! 

Finally, please save the date for Saturday, April 11th, at 9:00 AM as we host our first annual Hero Hike at CES. We are coming together to honor our veterans, service members, and first responders with a meaningful trek around our CES campus. To symbolize the commitment of our heroes, participants are invited to carry a backpack filled with non-perishable food items. Following the hike, all collected goods will be donated to a local military food bank to support those who serve. If you would like to donate to this cause, click HERE. We hope to see you there!
