Dear Netlas User,
We=E2=80=99re writing to let you know that we=E2=80=99ve updated our [Terms=
& Conditions](https://netlas.io/legal/terms_and_conditions/) and [API =
& Data License Agreement](https://netlas.io/legal/license_agreement/), =
effective **March 6, 2026**.
In addition to the policy updates described below, both documents have been=
**significantly revised to be clearer, more concise, and easier to read an=
d understand**.
### Summary of key changes
- **Community plans** are for **individual, personal, non-commercial use on=
ly** (not for companies or other non-individual use).
- **Demo access** may be granted to eligible corporate users for **up to 30=
days** for evaluation purposes only.
- **Paid plans** allow **commercial use**, including providing services to =
your clients.
- **Resale or white-label use** is permitted **only** under an **Enterprise=
plan** that explicitly includes a resale/white-label option in your **Cert=
ificate of Entitlement**.
- Subscriptions may **auto-renew** unless canceled or auto-renewal is disab=
led before the renewal date.
- You may not circumvent technical restrictions or plan limits (including c=
reating **multiple free or Community accounts** to evade limits).
- Scraping or harvesting data is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by =
your plan.
- Use by a [Competitor](https://netlas.io/legal/terms_and_conditions/#5-acc=
eptable-use), or use to build or enable a competing product or service, is =
not allowed. Please review the Terms for the definition of competitive acti=
vity.
### What you should do
1. If you plan to continue using Netlas, please review the updated document=
s. These two agreements were updated, and **all current legal documents** a=
re available at: **<https://netlas.io/legal>;**.
2. If you currently maintain multiple Community or free accounts, please **=
keep a single main account and delete all others**. Using multiple Communit=
y or free accounts to bypass usage limits is **not permitted** and may resu=
lt in **termination of all related accounts and permanent banning**, in acc=
ordance with the Terms.
3. If you redistribute, resell, or white-label Netlas data, please confirm =
that your **Enterprise entitlement** includes the appropriate resale or whi=
te-label option.
